To improve and 'finish off' the tatto, Lorna also came up with the design which set it off really well. Am going back for a second visit tomorrow for a further extension to the tattoo. I've had my navel, tragus and helix pierced at Gav's place. Stace did all the piercings, talked me through the cleaning process very thoroughly and was very patient when I had to lie down after the tragus! I originally visited Gavin's studio for a cover up but have returned several times for new pieces. I would recommend this studio to anyone, Gavin and his wife Lorna run a very professional outfit, whilst managing to remain friendly and offering helpful advice. If you are looking to get a Tattoo done, then look no further, My recommendation is 'Gavin Steele Tattooist'. My family and I was welcomed from the start, where we were offered tea/coffee just to settle the nerves before the sitting, Lorna had spoke to me on a number of occasions before my visit and came up with a briliant design for my daughters name which would flow nice with my Tat which I already had on my back. Gavin's quality of work and cleanliness of studio was second to none, and Stacey (Gav's daughter) couldn't do enough for Zoe (my fiance) whilst I was under the needle. Zoe and I are making the 2 hour trip again in the near future where I will have a 3/4 sleeve and Zoe is going to have a foot tattoo. Gav and Lorna make a great team. I e-mailed Lorna about a month prior to having my tattoo done, within the month the piece had been designed,(my whole upper arm), we'd changed it, and organised the whole four hour sitting. The design was exactly what I wanted, and it came out perfect on the skin. Lorna is a great designer, and Gav is a great tattooist. Nothing but praise, would recommend to anybody wanting one done.

Well what can i say...just had my first tattoo on my foot...the art work is amazing...love it...It was a wonderful, clean, friendly enviroment from the construction of my design to having the tattoo itself they worked with me for 2 weeks to make sure I had the design I wanted and I had it in the place that I wanted it there was no rush to get me in and ou t like some places do...Wouldn't recommend anyone else...and definatley will be going back for more...thanks Gavin

Gavin's a great tattooist, ive had 3 tattoos there now and pleased with everyone. Lorna's a fantastic designer and i enjoy going back there. Theyre both really welcoming and friendly when you go there. I would def recommend anyone to go there for both tattoos and piercings (i have also had my nose, ears and belly pierced there). Im simply delighted with my tattoo! Lorna went out of her way to help me polish my idea and create something that was unqiue to me and very personal! her design skills are top notch and she really put me at ease about the whole process. Diamond lass to be sure! Gavin was friendly, but professional, and he too went to a lot of effort to keep me calm, comfortable and happy! I was completely assured that the work would be first class, but I was still blown away by the result, his work really is exceptional and I just cant stop gushing about the pair of them!
